Post 7: Changes to my study programme

Imagen
Well... I mentioned in my last comment that many careers need a programme change... Why do i think that? because there are many careers a little bit outdated because the most of teacher don't have a very good connection with the new technologies and new trends. For example, in my faculty the most of teachers just study a very specific kind of music (contemporary - classical music), that is really good, but at the same time is necessary to have others perspectives to study. It is common that teachers think that popular music (rock, blues, jazz and others) is easier than contemporary music and they think that just because they don't know the popular music. Ok, this post is making me a hater, hahahaha... Another important problem is that usually the music faculties and conservatories don't have a good economic situation. Today is very difficult to survive as a musician and as a music faculty. The art needs a special financing, it is necessary that the state support that kind o

Post 6: Food

Okay this time I think that I am going to choose once of the most uncommon favorite dishes... I am talking about the curanto! I still remember the first time that I saw "her", it was love at first sight♥️ Okay, I am always trying to be funny in this blog and I'm not sure if I'm getting it. I tried the curanto ten years ago approximately and it was a super nice experience. In those years I lived in Venezuela and I was enjoying my holidays in Chile with my parents and sister. At the beginning I thought "what a strange dish!" in good way, of course, and 30 minutes later I was very close to exploit because I really ate a lot. Right now I am living in Machalí, VI region, so I ate curanto once a year as maximum. I really like the mix between the ingredients, the smell and why not? I love the portions hahaha. I hope to go to Chiloé very soon (maybe in February) and eat all the kilograms of curanto that I can hahaha.

Post 5: My Future Job

Imagen
What is my dream job? I am not sure about it, I just know that it has to be about music composition. At this moment I would like to work at the universities making different investigations and teaching "difficult lessons" in an easy way. I think that so many students can get better very easily if they have a good teacher and good class condition.  Some college teachers work temporarily in other countries doing masterclasses and that kind of stuffs, I think that would be a great excuse to travel while I do what I like the most. A college teacher work the most of time in a classroom interacting with people, but the classic musical composer work alone in his computer, so that's good point in favor of been a college teacher. The most exciting about this job is creating musical projects with students, there are many students with talent and energy to create new music. Sometimes is scary to think about what I'm going to work as a musician, and if I want to be a

Post 4: Musician

My favorite musician and composer is Astor Piazzolla. He was a argentinan musician born in Argentina (duh!), but he studied in New York city. He made a mix between the classical music and the argentinan folk music. Some people say that Piazzolla is not real Tango music, and others say that he is not real classical music... Who have the reason? I don't really care hahaha... I think that his music is unique, deep and strong. It's interesting that maybe you can listen his music in a bar or in a theater and it can creates a very nice atmosphere. The most common instrumentation used by Astor Piazzolla is the strings quintet, that includes double bass, violin, electric guitar, piano and bandoneon. I recommend you Libertango, Adiós Nonino, Verano Porteño and others... Nonino was the Astor's dad, so "Adiós Nonino" was composed when he died, so you can imagine that is not a happy song. Astor piazzolla wrote some "fugues", that's a composition method very use

Post 3: Series that you would recommend.

I definitely recommend you El Inocente, it is a Spanish miniserie directed by Oriol Paulo and it is produced by Netflix. I am sure that you can watch it in just one night, I say that because there are just eight episodes and it is very exciting. I have to be honest, probably you will not understand a thing in the first two episodes but that's why it is a master piece. My recommendation is you should try to predict what is going to happen, believe me, you will eat all yours nails hahaha... The show star is the famous actor Mario Casas and there is another one but I can't remember his name... At the beginning I started to watch El Inocente because I just was bored I choose the first serie that I found, maybe it was my best choice in this year hahaha... Personally the most of time I don't really like the Spanish series and movies because honestly I don't like the Spanish accent, but this serie is a good exception. When you watch this serie you will feel Nerves, fear, surpr
