English iii

Post 1: A country i would like to visit I really would like to visit Spain! I have uncles, cousins and my grandma there and that's the principal reason, but not the only one. I would like to know the Gaudi's cathedrals in Barcelona. Even, my dog's name is Gaudí. Im interested in going to some spanish beaches, honestly i don't have high expectations about it, but i am curious. I imagine myself eating a nice paella while i see to the beach. In spain there are good sausages and excelent beers, so do you undertand why i need to go? I forgot it, recently my best friend is living there, she is a nice person and i should go to crazy parties with her, drinking a eating a lot, of course. Another attractive place is The Magic Fountain, it is a really big fountain with colors, a beautifull architecture, lights and music. I hope you liked my post and i will work to make this dream come true! 

¡Studies interests! Since i was a child, i always wanted to be a musical composer for movies, tv, radio and another kind of media. I would like to make a master in film music or electronic music, and at same time it would be a little bit difficult for me because i don't have the best relationship with the tecnology hahaha. I want to study that master in United States, specifically at San José University. My cousin is currently studying that master there and he is always saying to me that i must do the same.   A few years ago i went to San José and i really enjoyed that trip with my counsins that are living there. Right now i'm seeing the possibility about how to start to study there, i think is a little bit difficult, but is really possible! I hope to have classmates from 30 differents countries and enjoy a lot!

 My favorite photograph and its story This picture was taken by a professional photographer, but i really don't remember her name. That night i was directing my own composition for strings quintet (double bass, cello, viola and two violins). It was a nice experience, i loved that composition and the musicians played very good. I was very nervous but at the end of the night everything was perfect. When the concert finished, i went out with my friends to drink some beers and to comment the pieces, the feelings and everything that happened that night.  It was two years ago and right now i'm planning to make another concert when the coronavirus is over. I play the guitar, so i sometimes think about to make a blues/jazz composition for electric guitar and strings orchestra. And the most important, the parties have to be always the second part of my concerts hahahaha...

 The fugue The fugue is a method of composition from the baroque period. This style of composition was very used by Bach, even, we can say that he is the best composer using the fugue. Some composers in the history have changed the rules of fugue like Alberto Ginastera, Astor Piazzolla, and others latin american composers. One day my teacher said me "the fugue is the harder test for a composer". In my opinion he is right and at the same time it is very relative. I choose this topic because i am always trying to compose a fugue, sometimes i try to make an traditional fugue but is very useful to study some modern fugues. This method is really important to me because with this technique you can make a big song just using a small material like a seed. This is a fugue analysis. If you are interested about it, i recommend you to listen "the art of fugue", "fuga con pajarillo", "Misterio y fuga" and "Fantasia and fugue in C minor". Enjoy it!  ...

The electric instruments  My favorite piece of technology is the electric guitar, but specifically my guitar, of course, hahahah. The electric instrument made a revolution in the arts in the 20th century. For example, in the 80's so many musicians could create very different music because the new keyboards and synthesizers. I use my electric guitar every single day. I remember when my parents gave it to me in the beach for my birthday, that day i was all day in my room, i couldn't go to the sea because that guitar made fall in love. The electric guitar can make a lot of different sound, you can change the volume, gain, bass, middle, high of the sound. Also you can use some effects with the amplifier, like distortion, chorus, flanger, wah wah and others. In my opinion, today so many people are using more some synthesizers than the electric guitar for that kind of effects, but the guitar was the "big papa" in the 20th century.

When i was a child i wanted to be a graphic designer. I spent all the time drawing and its very funny, because i created my own characters and they were demonds hahaha.  Before to study music composition, i thought to study physics, i really enjoyed that classes at school. But at same time is very important to have a good mathematical logic when you are studying music.  At the end i decided to study my current career because i enjoy composing more than anything else in my life. My experience at the university is really good, but i think that i sometimes learn more reading and investigating on my own. I have a million of really nice books and half of those are written in english. In the future i would like to work making music for tv and movies, but i really wish to be a university professor also. I love to teach and talk about harmony, orchestration and composition. 

  Do you know why i love this picture? because its the sea, but at the same time it looks like the foam of the beer. This picture shows what i like the most, beach and beer.
