Hi everyone! I'm Camilo Castro, i was born in Venezuela. My father's family is from Venezuela and my mom's family is from Chile. I live with my sister, my parents and my dog in Machalí. and i have a brother, but he lives in united states. I study musical composition at the university and my career is at the same time my best hobby. I started to play the guitar when i was 11 years old and I really love to play Blues and Jazz music. But curiously, at the moment that i have to compose, most of time i compose classical music for orchestra and others ensembles.

    Hello Camilo! Your picture looks so cool, is awesome that you started play the guitar at your 11 years. Your career sounds so funny and a little bit difficult because i dont know nothing of compose music but i like so much to listening music especially while im doing art works.

What is my dream job? I am not sure about it, I just know that it has to be about music composition. At this moment I would like to work at the universities making different investigations and teaching "difficult lessons" in an easy way. I think that so many students can get better very easily if they have a good teacher and good class condition.  Some college teachers work temporarily in other countries doing masterclasses and that kind of stuffs, I think that would be a great excuse to travel while I do what I like the most. A college teacher work the most of time in a classroom interacting with people, but the classic musical composer work alone in his computer, so that's good point in favor of been a college teacher. The most exciting about this job is creating musical projects with students, there are many students with talent and energy to create new music. POST 8: ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

Well... I have had 2 university teachers and both have been very easygoing and nice. I had really bad teachers in the high school but we have to see the positive side, they were so bad speaking English that it was a little bit funny. A few years ago I went to California and at that moment I just knew the "to be" verb so I had to plan some questions and phrases to try to make a conversation... The result was bad because I always tried to speak fast... On the other hand, I improved my English very fast thanks to Tandem. It is a social media to learn English at the same time you make very nice friends, it is not an app for flirting, I make the advisory because that is the first thing that the people think XD. I made a lot of friends and I usually make video conversation with them. I like the idea about this blogs, but to be honest, I think that maybe it would not be the best method to practice writing because you decide what to say and many times if you do not know how to write ...

Post 2: Best holiday/concert ever

  My best holiday was in december 2017 when i traveled to San Francisco, California. I stayed at my cousins' house, maybe that was the best part because i did not have to pay any hotel or something like that hahaha. The first day i went to an american football game at the Levi's stadium, i could not understand the game but at the same time i really enjoyed the atmosphere, there were orchestras representing each team, good food, people screaming... The following days i just ate very nice hamburgers at In And Out, Five Guys, Carls jr. and others... Obviously i practiced my english with native and non native speakers, my best conversation was with an indian guy. At that time my English was worse than it is today, but i could learn a little bit and it was a good experience. I casually went to some concerts, i saw some jazz musicians in bars and many street musicians. My brother currently is living in San Francisco right now so i really hope to return soon if i can.
